Born on Long Island, New York, Jackie obtained
a Bachelors of Arts degree in Political Science
and a Concentration in Latin American Studies
from the College of the Holy Cross in 2001 and
a Juris Doctorate from St. John’s University
School of Law in 2004.
Jackie began practicing personal injury defense
and insurance defense law at Montfort, Healy,
McGuire & Salley in Garden City, New York.
As an associate at the firm, Jackie prepared motions,
appeared in Court for oral arguments and conducted
party and witness depositions.
In March 2006, Jackie relocated to Virginia Beach
with her husband, an officer in the United States
Navy. Immediately after moving to the Tidewater
area, Jackie joined Sykes, Bourdon, Ahern &
Levy, P. C. as an associate attorney. She concentrates
her practice in the areas of foreclosure, bankruptcy,
eviction, real estate and litigation. Recently,
Jackie and her family have moved to Arlington,
Virginia where she manages the Northern Virginia
office of Sykes, Bourdon, Ahern & Levy, P.
C..
She is admitted to practice in New York and all
federal and state courts in Virginia. She is a
member of the American Bar Association and the
New York State and Virginia State Bars. Her application
for admission to the District of Columbia is pending.
