PRACTICE OVERVIEW:
Mr. Ahern has concentrated his practice in the
areas of commercial and residential real estate
transactions; foreclosure law; wills and trust
and organization of corporate entities
EXPERIENCE:
A native of Connecticut, Mr. Ahern has practiced
real estate and foreclosure law in the Tidewater
area for over 20 years. Mr. Ahern has received
a “BV” rating from Martindale-Hubbell.
EDUCATION; BAR ADMISSIONS; AUTHORSHIPS:
Mr. Ahern received a Bachelor of Arts degree from
College of the Holy Cross and his Law degree from
T.C. Williams School of Law.
He is admitted to practice before the Bars of
Virginia; U.S. District Court, Eastern District
of Virginia; U.S. Bankruptcy Court, Eastern and
Western Districts of Virginia. Mr. Ahern authored
“State of Virginia Prisoners Rights Manual”
for the State of Virginia Attorney General’s
office.
PROFESSIONAL ACTIVITIES:
Mr. Ahern is a member of the Virginia Beach and
Norfolk-Portsmouth Bar Associations, Commercial
and Residential Real Estate and Foreclosure Sections.
Mr. Ahern serves on the Centura Bank Advisory
Board of Directors.
